LAUNCH OF FASHIONAIRES MIDDLE EAST THE DAWNING OF A NEW ERA IN BAHRAIN



12of November, 2009: A spectacular ensemble of Bahrain's crème de la crème gathered on the 12 of November at the very prestigious Meat Co. marking the Launch of Fashionaires Middle East Organised by Lotus Pi in association with Red Scarf and Ohlala, the team ensued the dawning of a new era on the island where they promised to usher the Kingdom of Bahrain in the international limelight.

Reminiscent of various exclusive parties in , London and New York, the VIP Launch brought forth a night to remember as they created history with the various events showcased. Fabulous live photoshoots by designers
and by Yasmin Salahuddin were held throughout the evening at different locations with 6 international models which showered the night in exquisite glamour, luxury and elegance. In addition, an impressive fashion photography exhibition by photographers Balanquit, Alexander Yee, Jacqueline Kent, Yasir Waheed andPlhong Floreswas also showcased which featured the two previous photoshoots done for Fashionaires Middle East.

Sponsors include Studio Kalid (Official Designer), Yazi (Silver Sponsor), Personage by Abir Achkar (Official Stylist), Red Scarf (Official Model Agency), Ohlala! (Official Media Partner) and Meat Co (Official Venue). Also, Exclusive Boutiques gave away a Versus designer bag worth BD418 to the Best Dressed of the night.
FASHIONAIRES MIDDLE EAST

is a unique lifestyle brand that started in London by Oliver Morris on March 2008. In just over a year, they have already carved a permanent niche in the market and have recently expanded to Italy and now Bahrain. Thanks to Fashion Week,
Oliver Morris caught eye of Lotus Pi as he was looking to expand to the Middle East as well. After some deliberation, PI was chosen as the official representatives for the region.
local branch (which will be donned Middle East) aims to provide stimulating lifestyle solutions, products and events for those in the country as well as to create an elite network of the best fashion photographers, designers, models, stylists, corporate clients and much more (basically, your

Kingdom of Bahrain is moving up the social ladder and the birth of Fashionaires Middle East brings yet another international concept to the local market. Holding degrees from the Fashion Institute of Technology studying at both campuses in New York and Florence Italy, he was a finalist On “Mission fashion 2007” televised on LBC and also presented his Spring/ Summer Collection 2010 at Dubai Fashion Week, October 2009. His goal is to redefineMiddle Eastthrough innovation by the elevation of Ready-to-Wear, Couture, and Private Design to a new level of function, style, and excitement while maintaining the elegance people of this region has been known for throughout history.


YAZI

With a similar passion to show off the potential Bahrain has, Bahraini designer Salahuddinbrought about the birth of which offers an exceptional collection consisting of handmade accessories and clutches encrusted with Swarovski crystals, beads, leather, wood, acrylic, and murano glass. The collection is definitely a breath of fresh air to Bahrain and can be defined as modern, eclectic, abstract and trendy. Located in the newer extension of Al Aali Shopping Complex, the boutique also sells brands from Frandami 1960 and much more.
